Sweet Vengeance

by darkheart   Feb 10, 2005

I’m supposed to hate you, but how can I?
Though you led my parents on a false quest
And also killed them and caused them to die,
Putting me at no ease and at no rest.

I swear I was going to hunt you down.
I tried many times, but they all had failed.
One night, I tracked you down and had you found.
When you saw there was no way out, you paled.

I tried to catch you, but you disappeared.
Praying that this wouldn’t turn bloody,
I turned back around and then you were there.
Took my hands in yours and whispered, “I’m sorry.”

Since then, you were my angel from above.
That day, it was with you that I fell in love.
