The Change of Fate

The morning was placid
I felt so content
Signs were foreshadowing
That our happiness was spent

The news became public at a quarter to ten
A mist swept through the air
Cries were heard on every floor
This moment no one could bare

Minds just went numb
Time was never ending
Our lives were torn
The absences were overwhelming

That was the change of fate
Fear was born again
We shall stand together
Will our hearts ever mend?

I wrote this poem, the day after a guy I knew at my school commited suicide..
I couldn't cry anymore..
so I wrote
