Looking in detestation,
As war rages on,
While peace departs,
In the end no side will have won,
Many soldiers lost,
While leaving only broken hearts,
Of those loved ones left behind,
Somethings cant be worth the cost,
Those who gave there life,
Should be honored and dedicated,
For undergoing all the pain and strife,
This country has been greatly impacted,
Many lives have been influenced,
Smiles cease and many melancholic,
As eyes darken and fill with tears,
Corrosive to the heart and pride,
In the end all we can do is say our prayers,
As they walk upon heavens stairs.
