A loved one is dieing What can I do Everyday is hard Your feelings come unglued Your so helpless As you watch them fading away And all you want Is for them to just stay You think about all the "what ifs..." And "whys..." out there But all you come up with Is life's unfair As they give their last words You say not to talk that way Although, in the back of your mind You think, "what does he really have to say?" You don't admit it But they're leaving fast And no matter what you think Someday they're gonna pass *10/18/2002
