She Isn't Going To Die Today

by *¤*FoolInLove*¤*   Feb 10, 2005

She is a child prone to mischief
Yet she was not born a thief
Behind bars she has been
Yet her face bears a grin

She might never admit
That the crime she did not commit
She is simply glad
That she will never see her dad

She hides her bruises
Her self esteem she loses
She wants to disappear
In her mind her destiny is clear

She lays down in bed
Her heart is filled with dread
She lies down crying until she can't no more
She is in the center of a war

All her parents could do was yell
It is like she's in hell
They tell her she's pathetic
She just went frenetic

She ran to her room
Going to her doom
She took out her knife
She was about to take away her life

Then she saw a letter
And her life seemed much better
It was her only friend
Some time with her he'd like to spend

He told her he was sad to see her distraught
And that she ment a lot
He told her that he loved her
Everyone else was just a blur

She dropped the knife right away
She isn't gonna die today
