One more chance to make this right

by Sal   Feb 11, 2005

One more chance to make this right
One more chance to stop this fight
All she wants is a way to figure out
Why she causes so many people to cry
When she looks in the mirror
All she can see is a monster.
She can´t feel her own tears,
She can´t control her own fears.
In the cold they freeze
They get swiped away by a sudden cold breeze.
In the heat they dry
They stick to her face as more fall by.
In the wind they turn to dust
They burn like she does when there is no one she can trust.
She can´t look anyone in the eye
Out of fear that they will see inside.
She knows that if she lets them in
They won´t give her a chance to change.
So she stands far away,
Although they don´t want her to stay.
She stares at her world slowly falling apart
Feels the hate like a stab in the heart.
She turns around and asks herself "What have I done?"
"Why do none of them like me so sudden?"
That little hope burning inside of her,
That has stood strong through all these times,
Burns out in the favor of those who called her a monster.
She stares at nothing,
Until nothing becomes what she is.
In silence she is screaming,
Until silence takes over all she believes in.
A little voice whispers her "Welcome"
Thats when she realizes what she has become.
Time did not stand by her side,
She feels a part of her has been left behind.
Death took over her life
In the favor of her suicide.
