I miss you

Star light, star bright,
First star I see tonight,
I wish I may,
I wish I might,
Grant this wish I wish tonight.
I wish you were here,
I wish you were near,
I wish you could hear,
That I love you forever more.
I miss you so much I cry,
Even though I try,
Not to.
But still,
A warm wet tear slides down my cheek,
I squeeze my eyes tight, but it still gives a leak.
I miss you so much it hurts my heart
For us to be so far apart.
I wish you were here to hold me tight,
Tell me everything’s gonna be alright.
I cant seem to get you out of my mind,
Its been like this for quite some time.
I wish we were together still,
It will be awhile before my heart can heal.
It might even be longer than a year,
Before thinking of you without a parting tear.
I miss you,
But I can only pray you miss me too.
