Tired of life leading me down
Forever scarred by life
It shouldn’t all be this hard,
So intensely filled with strife
How do I deal with so much?
I don’t even know anymore
Why can’t it all be easier?
Why must it depart me sore?
I want to give in,
But still I shan’t
People say I can pull through
Though I believe I can’t
Too many don’t know,
The sorrow that takes hold,
From people so often these days,
With hearts so cold
Everyday is another challenge
What makes it worse?
No one seems to help me
Is there a way to break this curse?
If someone could only show me the way
Pick me up off the ground
If someone could only bring me back into sway
Then maybe life would go right
Turn from darkness, back to light
