Juggernaut

I hate what you've become
You and your values
Forcing them on me
As if I were your plaything

You tell me I'll be punished
If I don't comply
Well you know what?
You can just shove it

You won't even listen to me
You just don't want to hear
That your daughter
Is different from yourself

You tell me I'm confused-
That I don't know what I want
You just want me
To be your little drone

String me up like a marionette
Laugh as you tug on the chords
Guiding me through Hellfire
Leading me to your Utopia

You can't force me to believe
You can't force me to regret
You can't force my decisions
So why are you trying?

Well, now you know my truth
Don't you blame it on the school
Don't you blame it on my friends
And don't you blame it on my interests

You'll just have to make due
With this newly learned truth
And if you don't like it
Then I'm sorry...for the way I am
