So right, So sudden, So real

by Mark Hopwood   Feb 12, 2005

I've drank in my joint
I guess now it's time to go to sleep
Listening to the rain splash against glass
And feeling it dripping into my mind,
It's Time to unwind.

I hope I don't forget
To remember something to keep as a memory
That will float through my soul and keen me sane
So I can Feel it lighten up my mind,
And Help it unwind.

So now I take this moment to reflect
Upon every chance that I might reject
But if I look deep inside and inspect
I know everything I doubt will connect.

Sometimes things seem so right
Happening, so sudden and so real
Other times appearing so wrong, distorted and fake
All these thoughts always swim in my mind
So I just let them unwind.
