She sat broken on the floor, silently screaming out her pain. it's hard to be positive with a cut on every vein. Her tear stained face The black inside no longer could she cope no longer would she try. Behind the false smiles no one knew, That inside she was dead. Her only escape from the world was To push the knife against her 'til she bled. She wanted so badly to end it all, But could not face any more pain. Silently, she cursed everyone she knew With tears falling like acid rain. Why did no one understand? Why could no one see? That beneath the lies and hatred, A broken child longed to be free. That night she could not take it. She took her life, now was she free? If only somone had cared It could have been you or me. I know this poem will be forgotton But please just take the time to say, "I'm here if you ever need anyone." Or you might regret it one day.
