All of You

Ropes tugging at my heart,
Remembering what we shared,
Holding me within there grasp,
Telling me you cared;

A small smile,
Spreads across my lips,
Remembering your eyes,
And your tender kiss;

I miss the way that you held me,
And I was so comfortable with you,
I miss that you'd never forget,
To tell me, "I love you";

I remember how nicely,
My head fit on your shoulder,
And every day without you,
I'm growing colder;

The darkness is so overwhelming,
And at times I get so confused,
But I wonder whether you really love me,
Or if my love was abused;

Lying on my bed,
Staring into space,
I'm fading to another time,
Thinking of another place;

When I awake from my dream,
I look into your eyes,
Remembering what it was like,
When you made me cry;

Your arms around me,
I feel so safe,
No longer do I have to dream,
To soar to another place.
