Haunting

Even though she walks alone,
she has this feeling of being watched.
Yet every time she looks behind,
no ones there staring.

This feeling never leaves,
it's even there when she sleeps.
But she can never find the source,
so she ignores it and gets on with her life.

That was her fatal mistake,
she'd ignored it one to many times.
So the eyes that were watching,
wanted her attention back.

So when she left a party,
and walked home through an ally.
He came up behind her,
and showed her someone had been watching.

He grabbed her from behind,
and started to choke her.
He never meant to kill her,
but his strength had been to great.

So when people found her the next day,
her neck had been broken in half.
Her eyes were still open,
and the look in them was haunting
