She still cries herself to sleep
and watches the stars alone at night
it's been two months now
and nothings ever alright

She blames herself for going out with her friends instead
they try to tell her it's not how she should feel
but who's to tell her that
because what she feels is real

she can't stop replaying that night
the pain she felt when they told her he was gone
his parents crying so hard
and now everything feels wrong

she'd give anything to get him back
to hear him say I love you
and to be held in his arms
there's nothing she wouldn't do

ever since that night
all it seems to do is rain
no one understands
and all she feels is pain

he's gone forever she knows
she'll never let him go
she prays he's still right by her side
