My inner sanctity

by Sinister Soire   Feb 12, 2005

There is a place where I can go
Where everything is mine
No matter what emotions show
I will always be just fine

This place, my inner sanctity
Is shining pure and true
The only place that’s fit for me
The place where I love you

I am an untouchable
In this land of me alone
I am in every way so able
To avoid the silent zone

However I choose my solitude
Over the chaos they call life
Instead of taking too much food
Or turning to the gleaming knife

This solemn land of silence
Is honest pure and true
It’s everything but violence
And anything that can destroy you

Here alone I am so free
To be the person inside
I can become the full me
Without focus to divide

Often now I do return
To the land of my own doing
To the place I feel no burn
And the rivers of peace are flowing
