Painful to watch
painful not to look
beware of skin
goldenly overcooked
take it away

the shadows
of the tree reborn

lit aflame
by the fire starter

the noise of a gun
stop!
don’t move

seashells resting beneath the night air
so soothing, so sweet
realignment of stars
forgets the son
regrets the war
awaits for light
as the eagles soar
