Hidden things

by Sinister Soire   Feb 13, 2005

Why do you hide these things from me
I only ask the truth
I tell you honestly
The feelings that I see

I love you so much that it hurts
When you do not tell me all
I just ask that you let me know
When your heart is sore and hurts

I want to know how I can help
To make it all ok
But to do this you must tell
Where you need the help

To be fair to you I guess
The truth be told from me
I love you so much I do
And how much you’ll never guess

I tell you everything about my mood
And when I’m hurt inside
Or even when I don’t like something
That puts me in a bad mood

You know I wish I could be there
And now you have someone too
I just want you to be happy
Even if I cannot be there

Please tell me everything that is wrong
I fell in love with that girl
It breaks my heart to know you’re false
And that this mask of yours is wrong

Please tell me how to see inside
And peel away your mask
Hidden in your protective layers
You just taking your pain inside

Let it out, even if only to me
So I can help you love
Let someone see your pain
So that when I love you, you love me
