Where do you want to be?

by Heather Horwood   Feb 14, 2005

I want to be in a world that is safe,
From a world of war and violence.
Why can't we be in peace,
Where guns and bombs are all in silence.

I'd love to be in an angels arms,
So I can cry all my sorrows away.
But instead I took the devils hand,
Into a world that's full of betray.

I like to be in my happy place,
With all the moonlight stars shining.
I'd sit there for hours on end,
There my mind and sould start binding.

I want to be somewhere else,
Where you don't see the same dead faces,
Where the sun does really shine not just in your dreams,
Where you keep the friends you made, for more than just one summer.
But I get stuck in my room,
And stuck with had reality.
It hits so hard it is made of stone,
It just bewilders, the souls brutality.
