All a Dream

And now it's time to turn off the light
and cuddle under the covers
watching a movie
with my head upon his shoulder
just happy to be with him
not expecting anything more
hoping for nothing less
watching as the scene plays
not rilly caring what it was
shooting him glaces to see if
he's looking at me or the movie
sometimes i catch his eyes
perfect brown speres
looking into me
my soul
i fell his hand search for mine
he finds it and holds it tight
for an eternity it seems
that time has stopped
and it's just us
he looks at me
and i at him
my life stops and i feel weightless
he leans in and gently kisses my lips
and then it's all over
it was a dream
nothing more
