Valentine's Day Wind

That day has come
When all swoon and kiss
But not me
The love is something I'll miss

That Valentine's Day wind
Comes to warm their hearts
But I have no love
In this joyous day, I do not take part

I've searched for that one
To maybe share this day
But none have I found
That will for long stay

They all run away
Afraid to understand
But there's more to me
Than they have ever dared to scan

Once I thought there was one
Who may be that special guy
But it didn't last
I was too shy

Will that wind ever blow
And I no longer be forlorn
But all I feel is icy cold
Like a rose in winter with too many a thorn
