You brought the sun into my life
And then took it away

I need you more than plants need sun
I’m hurting deep inside
And really all I want to do
Is run away and hide

It seems you don’t want me around
Though I hope that’s not the case
Cause I would miss you far too much
It’s you I can’t replace

Though you let me down gently
It wrenched my heart in two
And though I said that I’d be fine
That wasn’t really true
