A guy and a girl

I never thought you would ask me a question so hard to figure out
Is a friendship growing into love what "friendships" all about
If i say no will you go and i be left with nothing
If i say yes will our friendship be a mess and never get it back
But if i say yes and it work out fine will it ever be really over
Because to tell you the truth i have thought of you as a lover
But if i told you that and you didn't feel the same way would we still be friends the next day
So i guess when you ask me i should say yes and hope it doesn't become a mess
Because the worst part is to lose you
And the hardest part to chose you
