You knew that it would happen
well, let me tell you you're wrong
no matter what you got to say
my life is nothing but a sad song

you jumped to conclusion
assuming I'm back at his side
it hurts to know i cant come back
but if i don't its just my pride

I'm sorry i played you that way
but things aren't the way you think
now I'm gone from your side
your feelings seem over in a blink....

    nice poem. Poetry is a beautiful thing, It helps to ease the pain when your going through tough situations. To me it's a way to let those I care about know how much I may have hurt them or how much they have hurt me. It's a shame you have a problem with ur pride, it can cause you to miss out on very special moments in life, especially happiness!
