The zephyr's cry

by Unrequited   Feb 16, 2005

Ashes of the dying past
will see us lying there
the dogs of war
beat us to the core
the zephyrs cry for me

the gray night
will bring us down
and tell us not to live
the battles over...
the war goes on

i feel so ugly when I'm down
the silence angers me
the black wolves of dark night
tell us not to pray
but I'm still here, for now

so love me not, i do not care
I'll die soon anyway
and when i cry about you dear
please do not have no fear
I'll die soon anyway

you can just throw me out
I'll love you more and more
but when the sun burns us up
the war will end that day
...and we feel nothing
