Fire burns
It destroys
Things in my life
When people think of fire
It usual has a bad reputation.
But I think the total opposite.
Fire is beautiful
The flames are empowering
They burn bad things
And give me life anew.
Fire gives me strength to push through
With fire I am able
To express my anger and delight
My surprise and confusion
My fear and delusion.
Remember,
Fire destroys.
But not what you think
It gets rid of the bad
And makes room for the good
I am fire
