Why Did This Happen?

I have loved before,
But never again.
All that it causes
Is more and more pain.

I took a chance
At loving you,
But you didn't care
That you made me blue.

You asked me to be your girlfriend,
The wouldn't talk to me.
You keep avoiding, ignoring,
And walking away from me.

I try to talk,
But you won't talk back.
I have feelings for you,
But your feelings for me lack.

I try to understand the situation,
All that does is confuse me more.
I don't understand
What you are doing this for.

What did I do,
What did I say,
To make you go
And act this way?

You betrayed me.
I don't know why,
But it doesn't even
Make me want to cry.

Maybe I love you
But maybe I don't.
I will sometime get over you
You maybe I won't.

I hope to move on,
To find someone new,
To make it easier
To get over you.

You will soon move
Away from here,
And never again for you
Will I shed a tear.

You will then be gone
