My New Friend

I found a new friend.
He is just like me.
Seems shy at first
But soon you will see.
You just have to get to know him
To see his wonderful personality.

He is a joy to be with,
I never want to be away.
Whenever he comes around
I want him to stay.

I love talking to him,
I could do it all night.
Even in daytime
Or just by dim light.

I just barely met him
But it already feels like forever.
Since I have met him
My life has become better.

From knowing him
I know I'm of worth,
That I want to be better
And better the Earth.
I hope we will become good friends,
And stay that way until the end.
