Love is more than just a feeling
And it’s hard to try explaining
What it is.
It’s a mix of strange sensations
Excitement and varying emotions,
Its bewilderment and joy and total confusion,
A complicated world that spreads illusion
A full and overwhelming commitment
That seeds us with contentment
While all the time you’re wary
Of this thing that seems so scary
But no matter what it seems
You’re enthralled and know it means
That there’s no escaping
Yes love is more than just a feeling
