It’s almost been a year now
Since you’ve gone away
I try hard not to show it
But it gets harder everyday

You always took my side
Whenever no one else would
You always took the time to help me
Whenever you knew you could

I’m sorry I didn’t say
All the things I wanted to
Even to this day I wish
That I could say these things to you

I want to take this time
To thank you for all you’ve done
You’ve helped me in so many ways
Your deeds will never be undone

You helped my family
Through all the times we fell apart
And I just want you to know
That you will always be in my heart

I miss you so much
More than words could ever say
I just want to say I miss you…
And I will always love you…
