Pushed away

There is a girl,
lost in a dark den,
no one knows where she is,
no one knows where she's been.

no one is there,
she calls no one her friend,
her heart is broken,
and there's no one to mend.

she doesn't like herself,
she hates her life,
she wants to disappear,
then she sees a knife.

she blacks out,
from loss of blood,
she tumbles down,
and hits the mud.

the flashing lights,
the yells and screams,
she wishes it away,
they were all so mean.

she wishes she was gone,
but they stand in her way,
they say they love her,
but they don't mean what they say.
