I love the concept of the piece and the use of an old man spilling out these ideals of modern society and what we have turned out to be. The piece really portrays our faults that have surpassed into such depth that the smallest acts of kindness are seen as out of the ordinary, "miracles"
(correct?)
I especially admire the line, "When did we make a
five dollar bill into a godsend?"
the symbolism just clarifys the whole work in a powerful way. And I also appreciated how you ended it, a just and worthy poem I must say, Excellent job

Unfortunately this happened to me the day I wrote it. So regrettably this was more of a faithful, poetic rendition of reality than anything more conceived. :(
