My personal hell

I wait in line
bound and gaged
i don't know
where i am

the line goes on forever
no one makes a sound
and i see myself
lying underground

scars on my wrist are evidence
i committed suicide
now, finally, i see
the other side

where's the angels
the sound of bells
the white light i was promised
my god, this is hell

666, I'm next,
thats me
my turn in line
how could this be

the gates of hell
open wide
the silence not broken
no screams inside

what do i say
is this all
hell is just a
long, dark hall

where are the flames
the eternal agony
just a hallway is
all i see

here's my door
my fate is in there
take a deep breath
face my nightmare

open the door
an empty room
where is it
where is my doom

i step in
close the door
walk out into the
middle of the floor

now i get it
now i see
my own personal hell
is spending eternity with me
