Even in death

by Unrequited   Feb 17, 2005

Remember my face
as it fades away
into the darkness
of yesterday
i see your face
so innocent, so true
i wish i was here
to be with you

but i am gone
as you have seen
i ended my life
for i felt unclean
you could have saved me
but you said no
you walked away
as your hand let me go

now you must live
with what you have done
i hope that without me
your life is no fun
my body is numb;
my face, so pale
you built my cross,
and stuck in the nails

remember my face
and ask yourself why
did i not help him
to stay alive
i wish you were cold
i wish you were dead
if i had the chance
i’d kiss you with lead

with all of this said
you must feel so blue
but don’t worry, my dear
even in death,
i will always love you…
