Stone Heart

by Ð맆îñ¥   Feb 17, 2005

Son of the tiger, hide behind your stripes
Colours used to shine out; there were so many types
Loving each day and dreading each morn
Wishing for another chance, a chance to be reborn

Inside you those colours grim, dim the light and shadow within
Each layer hiding more chagrin and covered with your grin
There is no essence to you; it fled long ago
You left your heart outside and now it’s frozen in the snow

You’re taking each moment and twisting it round
But even this day it’s to your heart you are bound
It’s leaving skid marks as it slips out of control
You’re left with the body, no sign of the soul

Petrified each night when you stand in the cold
You are monochrome and grey, there’s no more to behold
What fire can melt something so ageless?
Your heart of stone is set and throws us through distress

wow, description is lovely in that jemma, and the meaning... kinda confusing, but imagery and language rock, it's clever...

That was really something. The words are pick out very well but elaboration could bring what can unfold. Still you did a great job and great work!!! 5/5 =)
