Over the years
We grew apart
You pushed me away
And I locked my heart.

It is now closed to all
Who seek it
It will not open for anyone
Not even a little bit.

It needs its time
To mend and heal
And giving it the time it needs
Is such a big deal.

Its not ready
To be broken again
It will be ready soon
But I can not say when.

Its been hurt so badly
In the past
That healing it
Will not happen very fast.
