Day I Die

When we pass in the hallway.
We just pass each other by.
You crash right into me.
When you hurry on your way.
You help me pick up and say your sorry.
And that just made my day.
I look behind and see you walk away.
That's probably all I'll see of you.
Is you walking away from me.
When I get up the nerve.
To finally talk to you.
You hardly say a word.
There are things I'd like to tell you.
But I'm afraid you'll shut me down.
I'd like to tell you my true feelings.
But I shall hide them deep inside.
For the fear of being heart broken.
Will haunt me till the day i die.
