I am a girl

by Elizabeth   Feb 18, 2005

There is no time to clean,
No time to be mean.
There are clothes on the floor,
And teen idol posters taped to the door.
Dolls and stuffed animals piled in a chair.
The color purple can be found anywhere.
The telephone lines are busy all day.
A perfect tan can be made in May.
Hair Products and Make up all in one.
Putting it on is all the fun.
I am always ready for the morning preparation,
School is just my other occupation.
Out with my girls, morning to night.
Who knows there might even be a fight.
Gossip, boys, and looking good,
Is a part of me if you understood.
I am a girl you see,
and there is only one kind of me!
