I thought that it's the end of my life and of the universe
I thought I died and couldn't breathe anymore;
I thought I'd drown in the depth of my tears - but I was wrong!
I've seen the light and I felt the air
I could breathe and I could stand on my own!
I've survived even without you by my side
I could hear the music, listen, I could sing!
If I cried and was left all alone in the dark
I know there's still sunshine above me to light and guide my way;
If my heart was totally eclipsed
I still have the heart though and it's open!
