Ease the Pain

Why is it i have this chronic pain?
i sit and ponder, to find someone to blame

My doctor said the fast food did it
i don't believe it not even for a minute

they say i can't eat red meat, chips or dips
is it fair that i have to live like this?

I'm like a crossword puzzle they just can't solve
it's my life, i want control: to be at least involved

so when i feel sick and lonely in the nights
i reach for my pen and pad instead of the knife

I'm trying to figure out what it's like to ease this pain
I'm Trying to figure out what it's like to Seize the Day.

    Anouther amazing poem. I kinda went through that... long story short, wrote a poem, and two girls i barly knew told the school shrink... they kept on asking whats wrong, and asking to see my wrists even though i never cut... it was sad in a funny way how they kept on asking and guessing what was wrong with me... great poem, i love your poetry!
