Mommy, I miss you
Why did you leave?
You just up and left us, out of the blue.
I hope the reason you left wasn't me.

I never wanted to make you sad.
Angry, annoyed, or even mad.
I was just trying to show my love
I was the one that found your white glove.

It was laying on the kitchen tile on day
I just thought you put it there to lay
But then I noticed a little spot of red
And then I rememerbed what you had said

The night before you told me goodbye
And in the morning not to cry
I didn't think anything of it
Until I found your glove...that is

I found your body in the grass
Stuck with tiny pieces of glass
It had looked as though you cut yourself
I wanted to be sick but then I knew I had to be strong

I didn't want to miss you
I didn't want to cry
But I just couldn't help it
No matter how hard I try

So now I must say goodbye for real
And tell you just how I feel
