Trip

by Trish-Rish   Feb 20, 2005

If the old stories are really true
And if you love someone you must let them go
And if they return to you it was meant to be
Then let me pack your suitcases
And book continuous trips around the globe
By Train and plain and Ferry Boat
Hike, and parasail and see all there is to see
Hold and be held..........near endlessly.

But when you look back at earth
From your travels to the stars
Remember that I did let go
Remember that it was so new for both of us
Remember that the fire burned hot in your heart too.
I doubt not the love you feel for the other
I doubt not the love the other feels for you.

But if it takes until time is done
For you to know that I'm the one
Ten your travels won't have been in vain
Cause you'll come back to me again.

K; This is hard for me to rate. It's good. Poem's good but I do not believe in the concept.

But, anyway, my thoughts are mine alone. I look at the world with my own pink glass, your glass may be green or blue.

Poem's good and that's all that matters.
