In My Own Blood

by ¤©h€€®ƒüll¥♥©¥ñ!c@l¤   Feb 20, 2005

Everyday I write on the paper
Clean white with blue lines
Until I fill it with my thoughts
Sadness within no confines

These lines soon fill with words
Of sorrow and grieving loss
Very rarely do you see
A group of positive thoughts

I spill my heart out onto the paper
Not only feelings, blood-wise too
Pretty soon a shallow layer of blood
Covers the floor and seeps through

The volume rises more with time
Now it has risen up to my head
Covering my memories, my body
My furniture, my bed

It soon goes above my head
I am drowning in my own blood
Gasping for every breath I take
I cannot escape this flood
