The Touch of Ice

Not one person could understand her
From her lips came not a single hello
Her attitude was always so cold
Harsh, unpredictable, not even aglow

If you ever were to touch her hands
They were always as frigid as frost
Wandering down the streets at night
She always seemed so lost

She could freeze anything
Whatever was her blue heart’s desire
She could freeze your breath in place
And burn out even the hottest fire

Unbelievable was what she could do
Freeze time, and people in their places
Her enemies were in freight every minute
Horror and terror filled their faces

Her crystal blue eyes, as clear as the ice she froze
Would betray if she stared for a minute too long
You would freeze till the end of time
And in her wrath is where you would belong
