True Love Binds

Is love just lust,
with an added illusion?
Does love only have a begining,
and never a conclusion?
To me love is a lie
that no one can see past.
Because they think this is their future,
they think that this will last.
But only does it hurt,
and crush the pounding heart.
For that was the furture that
they couldn\'t see from the start.
They never saw the heartbreak
past that \'never ending\' smile.
But little did they know
it would end in a short while.
They never saw the tear drops
that fell from eachothers eyes.
They never saw the cheating,
they never saw the lies.
They only saw the happiness,
the things that brought them joy.
Never once did they think
that they were just a toy.
But after all the flowers,
the thorns felt just like knives.
They finally began to see
that love was ruining their lives.
So you can be the judge
is love with the pain?
The tear and all the suffer,
for the heartache you will gain?
