Broken Whisper (Away)

My mood is acting up.
I feel the need to self destruct.
To take something sharp,
and stab it through my heart.
Bleed, bleed, bleed away.

As the pain flows throughout my body,
throbbing uncontrollably.
Tears of shame fill my eyes.
I stare at the girl in the mirror that I despise.
Wishing she'd just curl up and die.
Cry, cry, cry away.

I collapse to the floor and lie there bleeding.
You step in through the door and scream in unbearable horror.
The mirror shatters. My ears pour a river of blood.
"Goodbye love," I choke out. "Goodbye.."
My heart stops beating.
You collapse to your knees and plead.
"Please don't ever forget me. Let me live on with you forever..."
Your head falls to my chest, you pour out your sorrow.
"Goodbye love," comes a broken whisper. "Goodbye..."
