A really great friend
who always cared,
and had the respect
just to be there.

Not only a friend
but so much more,
a perfect example
of what friends are for.

I never got to say,

and to this day.

Why did you hurt me?
I thought you were the best,
you ripped my heart
right out of my chest.

You slit it and squeezed it
and kicked it around,
you threw it up in the air
and watched it fall to the ground.

Very confused
where do I go?
After all this

of this only
can I be sure.
