You've Delayed Your Train

My heart is healing
I need to apologize
For some of the things I said
You all have mended
Something that I thought was dead
I can see something better now

You said to breathe and I choked
You said to see and I looked away
You said to calm down and I flipped out
There is a point when someone should give up
And yet the time has past and I still don’t listen
But you still say to me
Is to just breathe
Is to just see
Is to just relax

You haven’t taken the train
And left me here alone
You’re delaying your trip
Till you see a real smile across my face
Not the one that I show just for my act
You are waiting for that joyous smile
And you wait pathetically in the lobby

I even tried to push into the train
Yelled at you to leave
I said your words meant nothing to you
You just wanted to help me out of pity
And after my words left my month
You just stared at me
And said
Just Breathe
Just See
Just relax

And at that point something moved in my chest
I realized maybe I am not alone in this world
I have someone that gives damn if I jump
People who care for me when I thought I was alone
And I’m learning how to breathe
Learning how to see
Learning how to relax

I’m sorry that I have doubted your heart
I’m a fool and wanted to see you hurt
But I never meant to
I’m just an idiot to the world
But that fact that you stayed behind
After I said those things
Makes me want to do everything for you
All I want to do is to cry in front of you
