Rising Minds

by Ð맆îñ¥   Feb 21, 2005

Labyrinth mind wakes up
The puzzle appears before me
Blood I drink, I drain the cup
Normal to some degree

And as I walk, the city holds my hand
Leads me through it kaleidoscope of colours
So much to comprehend, to understand
It’s a mixed up world of yours

Warning signs, they’re all here
I’m stood on the last frontier
If I can just persevere
Before I disappear

My mind is rotting, it’s growing tired
No one can find its centre
We act together, we have conspired
Walk past the fences, we can enter

I’m not far from home
The cities grip loosens
Free my mind; let me roam
What’s the noise, hear the sirens

Judgements made
Wrong things to forget
Waiting for new ones to invade
Waiting for me to pay my debt

Owing my life, I owe so much
So many people out for my blood
Too late is gone, out of my clutch
And as I go I cry a ruby flood

So valuable a sea has flown
Left its borders left me behind
I’d have kept those precious drops had I known
But all the hassle, I finally resigned

Red waters flow behind, a wave raging
Each moment, further, further
I’m out of reach, combat engaging
Stand; take a look at my own demolisher
