My time left

I lay here all day with this pain in my side
No one can tell me how long until I have to die
My kidneys they are shot and I can not stand the pain
They say I need a new one in order to live again

I look into my children’s eyes, I hope they understand
That daddy must leave them, its out of his hands
I look at them and tell them, that it will be ok
That daddy will be there, in many other ways
As long as you remember, I will never leave your side
So close your eyes now, and picture me at your side
And I will forever live in side your mind with you
So when you are scared and lonely and don’t know what to do
Just stop and think of me and I will come to you

But soon I must go to, the heavens up above,
And spend my time with Jesus, who we all know and love,
He must have a plan for me, to be take me so soon,

But please don’t worry about me for I know I will be ok
Because in your memories I will live another day

My life on earth is over there is nothing I can do
I know that you don’t know me and probably never would
But I will always be here from this poem I submit to you
