Good-bye

Everyday i left the hospital, i made sure to say good-bye. Never knowing when the end would come, just knowing how time seemed to fly by. I was about to leave to see you, when i got the earth-shattering call. You had finally left me, my body had no feeling at all. It wasn't til i got there, that the tears had started to fall. Just seeing you laying there, my heart felt so tender and small. I couldn't bear to stand there, i ran out of the room. my mom had just left me, my heart and mind not yet in full bloom. i sit here tonite crying, tryin to figure out why. i said it a million times but, how do you ever really get to say good-bye?!?!
